Tony Baxter

Tony has over 25 years experience in industrial design and is a founding partner of CURVE ID. His work has garnered several design awards including an IDEA award for the Nike Vapor, a Red Dot award and multiple design patents. He is also MD of Mint Design, which produces a range of stylish home ware. He loves almost any product on Fab.com, with a steady stream of black and white boxes arriving. Remembering his UK roots, he’s also partial to anything featuring a Union Jack.

Alberto Mantilla

Alberto has over 25 years experience in industrial design and is a founding partner of CURVE ID. He has won many design awards including two IDEA awards, ID Magazine’s ‘Design Distinction’ and a Colombian Lapiz de Acero, in addition to being listed in TIME Magazine’s ‘Best Designs of the Year’. Alberto’s passion is encouraging and promoting product design in his home country of Colombia, where he has an active role advising Government bodies and education institutions.

Eduardo Cárdenas

Eduardo is a passionate Colombian artist, Industrial designer and Engineer. His Product Design Engineering background gives him a unique perspective that he uses to experiment with the boundaries between art and design. He blends his artistic skills with innovative technologies to approach his work in a new and unexpected way. Doing design by day, art by night, and playing soccer on the weekends, he always keeps himself motivated, allowing for big ideas to grow into extraordinary projects.

Paul Elhardt

Paul has a diverse background as a Mechanical Engineer (BSME), Designer, Stress Analyst, and CAD Consultant with 17 years industry experience across consumer products, sporting goods, medical products, operator stations, automotive, transit, heavy equipment, recreational and compact utility vehicles. His familiarity with various manufacturing processes allows him to take a holistic approach toward new product development. Paul has personally designed and detailed enough components to total over 60million dollars worth of tooling.

Juan Pablo Acosta

Juan Pablo is a Colombian industrial designer passionate about illustration, concept art, and storytelling. Combining creativity, organization, and a critical mindset, he brings bold ideas to life through design ideation and visualization skills. He enjoys exploring the balance between artistic expression and functionality. Always curious, he continuously learns new technologies and tools to refine his craft. Outside the studio, he finds inspiration in reading and sketching.

Mireya Martin

Mireya is a designer born and raised in New York, with an industrial design background specializing in marine and transportation design. From concept development and sketching to precise 3D modeling and rendering, she brings creativity and technical expertise to every stage of the design process. Her experience spans automotive, marine, and production projects, where she bridges the gap between bold conceptual ideas and practical, manufacturable solutions. Passionate about collaboration and continuous learning, Mireya works across teams to push the boundaries of form and function, creating impactful products that shape the future of design.
